Ford Explorer Performance Features

The Explorer offers multiple powertrain options. You’ll be able to get rear-wheel, all-wheel drive, and front-wheel drive with the Ford Explorer. The standard trim offers 300 horsepower from a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder. If this isn’t enough power, then you can look at the Limited and XLT versions. However, you’ll still get the same horsepower, if not more, with the EcoBoost options. These are more energetic and faster than previous Explorer versions.

Want more power in your SUV? Then the Explorer Platinum is a twin turbo V6 that delivers 365 horsepower. While it gets 24 mpg, it’s the towing and hauling power of this upgraded SUV that you’ll love if you’re an adventurous driver. There are all kinds of upgrades available with the Explorer.

You’ll love the newly designed Explorer and its performance options. You can check out the latest lineup at McMullen Ford located in Council Bluffs.
