
The holiday season in Omaha is a festive time of year, and there are plenty of events in the area that you wonāt want to miss. Here are a couple holiday events that the staff at McMullen Ford recommend to help get you in the holiday spirit.
14th Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony at Village Pointe
On November 24th, bundle up and come out on the night after Thanksgiving for the Santa Parade and lighting of the Christmas tree. There will be a family concert at 6pm followed by the holiday parade at 7pm, and the event will offer free cider and cookies to keep you and your family happy and warm. The parade will end with the official lighting of the tree for the Christmas season. You and your children can visit Santa after the lighting ceremony and enjoy free carriage rides until 10pm.
Santaās Magic
Take your children to the Omaha Childrenās Museum this holiday season from November 23rd to December 23rd, as they will have a recurring interactive holiday show called Santaās Magic. Santaās Magic presents a lovely winter wonderland with all of your childrenās favorite holiday characters like Santa, elves, the Snow Queen, and more.
6th Annual Winter Art & Craft Bazaar
During the weekend after Thanksgiving on November 25th and 26th, come to the Winter Art & Craft Bazaar to begin buying gifts for your loved ones. Featuring art and goods from local artists and vendors, this is a perfect opportunity to get your loved ones one-of-a-kind, handmade gifts.
