If you’re a fan of sci-fi or just enjoy high-velocity TV dramas, you were likely a fan of The X-Files. The show, which was the longest running sci-fi series in history, is making a comeback. Agents Dana Scully and Fox Mulder—played by actors Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny respectively—will once again take viewers on a wild ride.
Yesterday marked the kickoff of the six-episode series. In it, Agent Scully will once again drive a Ford. The auto manufacturer has a long history with the show. In the original series the agents were most often seen driving Ford Taurus cars. This year, however, Scully has upgraded to a Ford Explorer Platinum.
She will certainly have help on the road! This vehicle offers all sorts of driver assistance perks: from rain-sensing windshield wipers to a lane-keeping system to active parking assistance. Good news since she needs to focus as much attention as possible to convincing her partner that UFOs aren’t real and that there are no such thing as little green men.
