Excitement abounds here today at McMullen Ford. And, for darn good reason.

You see, we're all fired up about the release about our full-size SUV, the spanking-new 2016 Ford Explorer.

Also excited are the fine folks at Autotrader. Find out what they consider the Explorer's top five traits in the video review below:

New to the Explorer engine lineup this year is the fun, yet frugal EcoBoost iteration. Optional with the base, XLT and Limited trims, this turbo 2.3-liter four-cylinder provides a potent 270 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. What's more, when had with front-wheel drive, the EcoBoost should attain 22 mpg combined (19 city/28 highway), a most excellent estimate for this typically gas-guzzling segment.

If you'd like to learn more about this charming crossover, or wish to get behind the wheel of one, we encourage you to drop by our Council Bluffs, IA dealership. Our automotive enthusiasts are ready to answer your every question about the Explorer, or any other Ford model within the present portfolio.
